About

Amaze Children's Therapy Service offer fun, family focused children's therapy service in the one place.  Our multidisciplinary therapy hub is located in the Western suburbs of Brisbane, where we treat children of all ages and abilities.

Starting off as Talking Tykes Speech Pathology in 2015 and re-launched in at our new Kenmore home at the start of 2022 - Amaze Children's Therapy was born out of a need to expand our existing Speech centred practice to accommodate a multidisciplinary range of complementary therapies for children, and tailored group sessions to suit our clients.

As parents ourselves, we understand the constant surprises and challenges of raising children, and balancing the demands of family life. That's why at Amaze our team of therapists work with the child and their family to ensure a holistic and consistent treatment approach that is fun to implement, flexible to family needs and affordable.

All of our team are fully vaccinated, experienced in their specialist areas of practice, insured and registered with their professional organisations.

Our clinic is located in central Kenmore with an abundance of available parking (including 5 undercover spaces), toilets and change facilities, and some excellent coffee-making neighbours.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child to the Amaze family.

Our Team

Karina Cook
Clinic Director
Senior Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Karina has been a paediatric Speech Pathologist since graduating in 2011, and is the proud owner and Director of Amaze Children's Therapy (formerly Talking Tykes Speech Pathology). She has worked primarily in paediatric private practice during her career, but has education and disability experience also.

Karina's special clinical areas are working with speech or articulation difficulties, and early primary literacy development.  She also has training in the Lidcombe and Restart DCM programs for stuttering in the early years.

As a married Mum of 3 ever-surprising kids, two more border collie babies and a usually less-demanding cat - Karina understands the joy and pressures of family life first hand.
