Tamara Noonan

Registered Occupational Therapist

Tamara is a registered Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering holistic, evidence-based, and family-centred therapy. She strongly believes that every child has the right to engage in meaningful and fulfilling daily activities, and she brings a warm, individualised approach to every session. Tamara is committed to making therapy both effective and enjoyable, tailoring each experience to suit the unique strengths and needs of the children she supports.

Tamara currently works with children and young people aged 0–18 who may need support in areas such as:

  • Self-care skills (including toileting)

  • Fine and gross motor development

  • Social and play skills

  • Emotional regulation and behaviour

  • Sensory processing

  • Handwriting

  • School transitions

  • Eating and food concerns

  • Executive functioning

  • Visual processing and perception

With a background in psychology as well as occupational therapy, Tamara has a strong interest in supporting the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and their families.

Outside of the clinic, Tamara enjoys cooking, travelling, and visiting museums. She also has a passion for Brisbane’s vibrant performing arts scene and is a proud supporter of the local arts community.

Tamara’s additional training includes:

  • The Zones of Regulation

  • Cool Kids Anxiety Program

She is also currently expanding her skills through additional learning in:

  • Sensory Approaches in OT Clinical Practice

  • Sleep and Disability

  • Talking Toileting (Series 1 & 2)
