This fee includes case history, observations, necessary assessment test forms, informal and/or formal assessment administration, preparation, scoring and analysis, liaison with other team members as required, other administrative tasks, goal setting, preliminary feedback and verbal therapy plan given to family.

Music therapy assessment rate is technically $190.30 including GST (while we are absorbing the cost of the GST)

All additional assessment sessions are charged at this same assessment rate per hour.

Cost does not include a report.  A report is recommended and will be invoiced separately on completion. You may opt not to receive a report or you can discuss the different report options with your therapist.

$190 - Standard Therapy Session cost

All session times are billed to include 15 minutes of preparation prior to session, documentation post session, correspondence and administration.

For example, our standard $190 session is 45 minutes direct client (session) time is billed as a 60 minute service including the 15 minutes of non-contact time. 

Shortened 30 minute OT or MT sessions - $145 for 30 minute session time + admin time

This rate is suitable for various complex, disability, early intervention, or school age language, and NDIS funded sessions.

Special Discounted Therapy rates for more structured programs: 

Handwriting sessions - $175 for 45 minute OT session time + admin time

Literacy sessions - $145 for 45 minute SLP session time using the Sounds Write program + admin time

                                  $125 for 30 minute SLP session time using the Sounds Write program + admin time

Articulation session - $95 for 30 minute SLP session time + admin time​

Please note that all Music therapy sessions do incur GST, unlike Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapist. We have decided to absorb the cost of the GST for now, so that fees will reflect the above prices e.g. $190.30 for individual therapy sessions, including GST.

Allied Health Assistants/Student Speech Pathologists

• 30 minute AHA therapy sessions $70 (Mobile rate $95)

• 45 minute AHA therapy sessions $95 (Mobile rate $120)

• 30 minute AHA prep readiness sessions $70 (Mobile rate $95)​

As with music therapy, Allied Health Assistant sessions can be claimed using NDIS funding, but not using Medicare or Private Health insurances. Please let us know if you will be using NDIS funding so that invoicing can be accurate for claiming.

Food Explorers Groups - $145 per session

This group runs one afternoon per week for 6+ year olds and one morning per week for under 6 year olds during term time. Please enquire for the current times. Each session incorporates a sensory activity and trials of new foods (with family input). We send home a feedback record sheet after each session.

Literacy Intervention Groups - $125 per session 

Our Speech Pathologists and Literacy tutors may offer to group your child with similar peers to offer group based Sounds Write sessions for literacy intervention. This proves very beneficial due to the peer modelling, social aspect and affordability. 

Handwriting, Sensory or Fine Motor Groups - $145 per session

Our Occupational Therapist also combines children working on handwriting goals at a similar level into groups.

Our Groups do often also run as a school holiday intensive program. In this instance, please refer to the price on the booking form.

For example, a standard report cost is $190, for one hour of clinician time. This includes assessment data and recommendations for one assessment tool or area of difficulty. 

​

Comprehensive Reports are charged at $190 per hour, so a typical cost of $380. This type of report is typically much more detailed, and used for combined school-age comprehensive language and literacy assessments, or comprehensive assessments for the purpose of diagnosis or funding.

This fee per hour is also appropriate for reports, plans or summaries created for NDIS purposes.

Please note that there is a standard two-week turnaround for standard length reports. Comprehensive reports (such as those for the NDIS) can take up to four weeks. Please discuss the purpose of the report and expected time frame with your therapist. For NDIS, please give your therapist adequate notice if you have a review date approaching or need a report before an upcoming appointment.

Single page  letter to doctor/school. This generally doesn't include any assessment data, just our impression and recommendation following the initial assessment. This is often requested to aid in referrals. 

$190/hour (charged per 15 minute intervals)

A rate of $135/hour is charged for meetings with parents, carers or teachers. This also includes online or phone consults.
