Speech Pathology - Articulation Therapy (30 mins face-to-face)

Articulation therapy focuses on helping children produce speech sounds more clearly and correctly by improving the movement and coordination of their lips, tongue, and jaw e.g. correcting a lisp. Question 5

Group Therapy Programs

$145 per session Our group therapy programs (Literacy Intervention, Lego Builders, Social Skills, Anxiety, Handwriting and Fine Motor Groups) run on a rotational basis during Queensland public school terms and typically each . Groups operate with small numbers (typically 2-4 children) and are billed following NDIS guidelines, including both direct contact time per therapist per group and non-contact time per client. Please note that 'Prep for Prep' groups are longer than typical groups and are priced differently. Similarly, our Food Explorers groups are priced at $165 per session due to the additional time required before and after each session and food supplied. For details on our current group therapy programs and availability, please visit our services page. Groups can also be provided within a childcare centre. This is typically priced as a per child participation fee that can be passed along, in order to cover the therapist's rate. Please contact us to discuss groups that may be appropriate for your centre or obtain a quote.

Question 6

Professional Learning for Educators or Families

Professional learning workshops are tailored to suit the needs of the childcare centre, school, or OSHC. 
Workshops are currently offered as a 90-minute session, including two presenting therapists, handouts, and questions. This format is priced at $499 + gst per workshop. 
Workshops or education sessions that are tailored towards families are also available to be presented from your location. Please enquire for further information about professional or family education opportunities.

AHA Therapy Plans & Session Rates

AHA sessions are a cost-effective way to support your child’s progress. Sessions are carried out by our AHAs, implementing strategies developed as part of the therapy plans produced by our qualified Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists.

AHA Therapy Plan:
Created by our certified Speech Pathologists/ Occupational Therapists, therapy plans are billed at the standard clinician rate of $193.99 per hour.

AHA Session Rates:
30-minute AHA therapy session: $70 (Mobile rate: $95)
45-minute AHA therapy session: $95 (Mobile rate: $120)
30-minute AHA prep/readiness session: $70 (Mobile rate: $95)

Assessment Reports

$193.99 per hourThe time required to produce reports varies from child to child depending on needs and support. To ensure the most cost effective solution for your needs, reports are estimated, quoted and agreed upon with families, and charged on an hourly basis. Standard ReportsStandard  reports typically cost between $193.99 and $380. These reports usually focus on one area of difficulty and include assessment data and recommendations. Standard reports are generally completed within two weeks.Comprehensive ReportsComprehensive reports are more detailed and often used for school-age language and literacy assessments, or for diagnosis and funding purposes such as the NDIS. These reports require more time and may cost significantly more, depending on your child’s needs and the assessment tools involved. As such pricing for comprehensive reports are quoted based on how much time and detail the report requires. Turnaround time is usually up to four weeks, though it may be longer in some cases.In all instances, your clinician will work with you to help identify the most cost effective solution to meet your goals.

Question 9

Stakeholder Meetings and Emails (e.g. parents, carers and educators)

From $48.49Meetings with parents, carers, or educators, including phone and online consultations, are charged at $193.99 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments. Agreed upon lengthy admin tasks such as emails and resources are also charged at this rate. Please note that this applies to  meetings that exceed 15 minutes. It does not include natural discussions with parents or carers that take place as part of regular therapy sessions, though we ask you to notify your clinician if you need to make time for a lengthy conversation as this may require a separate parent only appointment time.

Question 10

Mobile clinic travel fees

We are proud of our relationships within the community and continue to offer travel to local schools and daycare centres within a 15 minute travel radius of the clinic. Travel is billed according to the current NDIS guidelines at a rate of $97 per hour, and billed in ten minute increments. The maximum travel charge of $48.50 is for 30 minutes travel (15 minutes each way).It is a requirement that any sessions in the community are paid for on the day of service and this is facilitated by an arranged direct deposit plan/stored card details. Receipts will be sent after each session.
