Individual and group Occupational Therapy services are now available!

 

We are incredibly lucky to have two Occupational Therapists at Amaze. We provide individual assessment and therapy services for children 1-18 years of age, with all levels of ability. Particular areas of focus for occupational therapy include: 

• Early intervention for developmental delays and disorders

• Self-care skills including Toileting

• Fine motor skill development 

• Gross motor skill development

• Social and play skills

• Emotional regulation and behaviour

• Sensory processing

• Handwriting 

• School transitions and readiness 

• Eating and food concerns

• Executive functioning

• Visual processing/ perception and attention ​

Our Senior OT Andrea is our school-age specialist for children aged 4-9, and focuses on:

• Fine motor development and handwriting

• Visual processing and attention 

• School readiness goals 

• Individual support for feeding difficulties (as well as leading some of our Food Explorer groups)
